Corollis at e-learning Manchester

Corollis were present at the inaugural Manchester e-learning event where they explored a number of new opportunities with clients old and new. As with other e-learning exhibitions, Corollis noticed that the focus of the exhibition did not always match the focus of the conversations.

"There is still a great deal of confusion and doubt," said Corollis Managing Director Jonathan Kettleborough. "The unfortunate effects of September 11th have certainly polarised the ability for e-learning to offer significant advantages to global organisations, although the continued emergence of blended learning is making many organisations question the best place to invest their training spend. This exhibition came hot on the heels of the cancellation of the largest ever e-learning merger and we have now seen that some of the key players are failing to meet their financial target and their stock value is affected accordingly. These events continue to suggest that e-learning is in a state of flux and we for one would certainly agree. Undoubtedly there will be a period of settlement in the industry however we don't see this occurring just yet."
